SACEUR met CIOR President

The CIOR President, Capt (R ) RNON Jon Erling Tenvik was Wednesday 12 October received by Admiral Jim Stavridis USN, Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR). The meeting was arranged in order to provide an opportunity for CIOR to report on the progress on different taskings the Admiral had given to CIOR  to support NATO.

The Admiral has, on our last meetings, sent us a video message  where he passes on his greetings, expresses his support and tells us in which areas he believes we may support NATO in the best way. His guidance has been the basis for many of our activities and internal takings the last year, inclusive the Symposium during this year’s Congress in Poland. The meeting with SACEUR provided an excellent opportunity to report back and to discuss follow ups and new initiatives relevant to NATO.
